Friends of Lafitte Corridor would like to thank everyone who came to last week’s fundraiser at Dooky Chase’s Restaurant. It was wonderful to see such enthusiasm for this project and we hope this momentum and support will continue in the upcoming months prior to the groundbreaking of the Greenway.
- Interest in developing the Lafitte Corridor as an urban trail with multiple activity uses;
- Willingness to promote FOLC at meetings, events, and other venues;
- Willingness to assist or lead fundraising efforts to support FOLC operations;
- Ability to attend monthly FOLC meetings (missing three consecutive meetings results in automatic dismissal).

The 2013 FOLC Board of Directors nominees are voted on by the attending membership at our next monthly meeting to be held on Thursday, January 24th at 6:30PM at Sojourner Truth Neighborhood Center, 2200 Lafitte Street.
