FOLC was founded in 2006. We have been advocating to preserve and revitalize the Lafitte Corridor and adjacent neighborhoods via the creation of a greenway. Read about our mission.

The City of New Orleans has contracted with Design Workshop to plan, design and construct a greenway in the Lafitte Corridor.

Public Hearings for the Lafitte Greenway Plans

The City Planning Commission will be hosting public hearings about the Lafitte Greenway Master Plan and Lafitte Corridor Master Revitalization Plan on Tuesday, May 14th, andTuesday, May 28th at 1:30 PM. New Green Room on the Greenway

Join The Urban Conservancy, Friends of Lafitte Corridor, FutureProof,  Massey’s Professional Outfitters and Merrell Shoes, to finalize building the third “Green Room” on the Greenway.
