This Thursday, September 27th, FOLC is holding its September board meeting at Sojourner Truth Neighborhood Center. The monthly meetings are open to FOLC membership (only $10/year) and attendance is encouraged! Come learn more about our organization, how you can get involved in community activities, and [...] Who’s ready to stake their claim to the Lafitte Greenway? The Urban Conservancy, Friends of Lafitte Corridor, and FutureProof, with support from Massey’s Professional Outfitters and Merrell Shoes, will construct a third “Green Room” on the Greenway and we need your help! Equal parts installation and wayfinding tool, the kiosk build will take [...] Please join us as we TAKE A HIKE along the Lafitte Greenway on Saturday, April 14, 2012. The annual hike is roughly 3 miles, and parts of the path are overgrown and weedy. So dress accordingly, and you might want to bring some sunscreen.
